Things I've built

★ = built at Filament Platform, the startup I founded in 2026

  1. sensor ★ built at Filament

    Aug 2026 — · Linux tool

Privacy-first voice dictation for Linux. A lightweight background daemon that works on GNOME Wayland, KDE, X11 and bare TTY, packaged for Ubuntu/Debian with a one-command install.

Filament Platform Inc. · open source (MIT) · Python · Background daemon · Debian packaging
    700ms on CPU only
  2. Luminous ★ built at Filament

    Jun 2026 — · Agentic web search

Structural information extraction with agentic AI. A central data contract propagates across a four-layer search pipeline; deterministic scoring keeps the LLM on the parts that need judgment, and retries plus structured output let it fail gracefully.

Filament Platform Inc. · LLMs · Agents · Structured output
    101 contacts / run
  3. Scholarship chatbot ★ built at Filament

    Mar – Jun 2026 · RAG MVP

Scholarship-navigation chatbot MVP for students at George Brown Polytechnic, built on custom scrapers and RAG pipelines. Sold it through 20+ onsite interviews and 50+ sales emails.

  4. Vanguar

    Feb – Apr 2026 · Robotics

Autonomous fire-detection robot. I built the software layer and the Flask link between hardware and controls, ran 20+ pressure tests, and reworked our pitch once we saw the judges weighed growth over tech.

  5. Line-tracing robot

    Jan 2026 · Robotics

Arduino line-tracing algorithm on infrared sensors, on a chassis I assembled from wheels, circuitry and 3D-printed parts. Plus a small HTML/CSS tool to log track-error and collisions between runs.

    1kg payload
  6. Chess AI Engine

    Nov 2025 · Hackathon

CNN evaluation function trained on 500k+ board positions, wired into alpha-beta pruning. Led a team of three through a 30-hour sprint.

ChessHacks, University of Waterloo · PyTorch · CNNs · Alpha-beta search
    ~1400 ELO
  7. Boson-Duo

    Oct 2025 · Hackathon

Multi-chatbot debate platform with automated prompt routing and argument generation. One Flask/Gradio layer let several LLMs argue through a single frontend. Team of four, 36 hours.

Boson AI Hackathons · Flask · Gradio · Multi-LLM orchestration
  8. 24-point solver

    Oct – Dec 2025 · Personal

LSTM encoder-decoder that predicts mathematical sequences, fed by a state-machine tokenizer. A recursive solver generated the labelled data.

Personal project · TensorFlow · LSTM · Tokenizer design
    400k+ permutations
  9. Pacbot navigation

    Sep – Dec 2025 · Robotics

Real-time path-finding on A* for a competitive robot, inside a modular codebase built for fast decisions. Tuning the planner also lifted search proficiency by 5%.

    UTRA — Pacbot team · Python · A* search · Real-time systems
    +13% avoidance
  10. Neural ODE Pendulum

    Sep – Dec 2025 · Physics × ML

A NeuralODE library for non-linear physical systems, paired with a numeric solver for double-pendulum dynamics. How far can a differentiable solver predict chaos?

Ordinary Differential Equations, UofT · PyTorch · torchdiffeq · Numerical methods
  11. Nuclear plant siting

    Mar 2025 · Hackathon

Optimized plant placement across geography, infrastructure cost and environmental impact, with fuel and operations cost estimates behind the pick.

UTNEA Hacks · Geospatial analysis · Cost modelling
    1st place
  12. MAHA Battle Agent

    Feb 2025 · RL

Smash-Bros-style fighting agent trained with PPO, on a state-action space that stayed tractable while capturing high-dimensional combat.
